Project challenges

The hospital will remain fully operational during the proposed development. The hazardous building materials assessment needed to be conducted over an extended timeframe to fit into the various development stages and to limit disruption to the hospital operations.

Our solutions

JKE worked in conjunction with Health Infrastructure NSW, the project managers and hospital staff to plan and organise the hazardous building materials assessments for each stage of work. Astute planning and coordination was required to minimise the impact on the hospital operations. This was achieved by lodging formal notifications in accordance with Health Infrastructures requirements and consulting with relevant parties.
